About Me
______
I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Simpson University in 2001 and my Masters of Science in Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2003. During my internship I did work at Crestwood Behavioral Health, a residential treatment facility for those suffering from acute mental illness. I also worked as an intern at Golden Hills Counseling Center, where I received the highest standard of clinical supervision. After licensure, I obtained experience teaching seminars and running therapy groups. However, the bulk of my work over the past 15 years has been working with individual clients, which is what I am most passionate about! Currently, I am also supervising interns who are working to obtain their 3000 hours toward licensure. The more I work as a supervisor, the more I love it! Developing and supporting new therapists, as they move toward licensure, has become another passion for me! I currently have space for a new associate, in private practice!
